About Us

The story behind Go With Guide Pakistan

Last updated:

Our Story

Founded in 2015, Go With Guide Pakistan was born from a deep personal connection to the mountains of northern Pakistan. What began as a single trekking guide sharing hidden trails has grown into a full-spectrum adventure operator serving travelers from over ten countries.

We believe the best journeys happen when local expertise meets genuine hospitality. Every expedition we design is rooted in firsthand knowledge of the terrain, the culture, and the communities that call these mountains home.

"The mountains gave me everything I have. Sharing them with people who treat them with respect, and bringing everyone home safe, is the whole reason this company exists."

Why Travel With Us

Go With Guide Pakistan is a licensed local tour operator, not an overseas reseller. Every trip is run by our own team on the ground in Gilgit-Baltistan, which means the permits, transport, hotels and mountain logistics are handled by the same people who guide you. Since 2015 we have operated more than eighty guided expeditions for travellers from over ten countries, and we still build each itinerary privately around your dates, fitness and interests rather than fixed group departures.

We keep groups small and guides local. Our lead guides grew up in these valleys and carry wilderness first-aid training, so acclimatisation, weather calls and safety decisions are made by people who know the ground. We arrange the national-park fees, restricted-area permits and, where a route requires it, the liaison officer, so you arrive to a trip that is already sorted. The result is the freedom to concentrate on the mountains while the paperwork, pacing and problem-solving sit with us.

Where We Operate

Our home ground is Gilgit-Baltistan and the wider Pakistani north, where the Karakoram, Himalaya and Hindu Kush ranges meet within a single region. We run trips across the Hunza and Nagar valleys, Skardu and Baltistan, the Deosai Plateau, Fairy Meadows below Nanga Parbat, the Kalash valleys of Chitral, and the glaciers and base camps of the Karakoram, including the trek to K2 Base Camp along the Baltoro.

Beyond the classic routes we guide mountaineering expeditions on the 8,000- and 7,000-metre peaks, cultural and festival tours, wildlife trips for the Himalayan brown bear and snow leopard, and cycling and motorcycle journeys along the Karakoram Highway. Whether you want a gentle valley week or a serious high-altitude expedition, it is the same team and the same standards behind every departure.
